Being there at home, for the person and for the family.

At Debbie Anne, our End of Life Support service provides compassionate care for those in their final stages, offering peace of mind for loved ones and families when it’s needed most. We prioritize dignity and comfort, ensuring a supportive environment that honors individual wishes and facilitates meaningful connections. Trust us to be there during this sensitive time, providing expert geriatric home health care tailored to your family's needs.

Questions people ask

Are you nurses?
No, and we would never say otherwise. We are personal assistants. Medication, pain relief and anything clinical is done by the district nurses, the GP or the hospice team; we do the everyday, practical care alongside them and keep them in the picture.
Can you come at short notice?
Ring us and ask. We will not pretend we can always drop everything, but we would far rather you rang and we told you honestly what we can and cannot do than you sat there wondering.
Can you come at weekends?
Yes. End of life care is the one thing we provide seven days a week, because it cannot stop for the weekend. Our other care runs Monday to Friday.
Is it too early to arrange something?
Almost certainly not, and it usually works better started early. If your relative has already met the person coming through the door, and they already know how the tea is taken and which chair is whose, then none of it is new when things get harder.
What if things change and we need something different?
Then we change with it. Nothing agreed at the start is fixed. The amount of help, the times, and who is there can all be altered as often as they need to be. Just tell us.

How it works

  1. Have a chat

Give us a ring or send us a message and tell us what you’re finding difficult. There’s no obligation, and nothing to sign. If it’s urgent, say so: we can sometimes start straight away.

  2. Your first visit is free

We come out to you at home, meet you properly, and write down together exactly what help you want and when. There’s no charge for that visit whether or not you go ahead.

  3. Your assistant starts

Your assistant starts visiting on the days and times we’ve agreed together, and we stay in touch to make sure it’s working for you.
